Eating vegetables throughout the day instead of snacks is a great healthy alternative.

I have been researching healthy foods to buy on a budget. The main thing I have noticed is to make sure to buy whole food and not processed food whenever possible. Also, it is good to have a lot of mixed nuts and beans in your diet in addition to fruits, vegetables, fish, and poultry. Nuts can be mixed into yogurt or put in salad. Beans can also put into salad dishes or wraps. A good search term on YouTube to find a lot of good videos on the subject is ‘eating healthy on a budget’. MyFridgeFood.Com is a good resource for finding recipes for your healthy ingredients. You just select the ingredients you have available from the list of food on the website and it will generate all sorts of recipes based on what is in your fridge or pantry.
